The Role
You will be working within the Condé Nast Commercial Creative team, UK, creating print, digital and video content for a range of clients across 9 different titles. This role reports to the UK Group Creative Director, CNCC in turn reporting to the Global Vice President, Creative, CNCC. You will be specifically supporting the commercial art team in the UK to help design all branded content.
What will you be doing?
  • Supporting a team of senior designers and art directors on all commercial pitches and projects
  • Attending brainstorms and concepting for commercial activations across print, web, video and social
  • Concepting, creating and editing video concepts for TikTok and Instagram
  • Picture research, creating mood boards and building pitch decks
  • Image selection and cropping for social and online
  • Print and digital layout designs for all titles within the Condé Nast portfolio
  • Marking up print pages for repro and checking print proofs
  • Design of traffic drivers and in-house ads
  • Digital and interactive design for commercial partnerships across the Condé Nast portfolio
  • Producing animated graphics and titles for social films
  • General admin tasks and support within the creative team
Who you are:
  • You are a collaborative and curious creative, as excited to present your own original ideas as you are to learn from others.
  • You are culturally plugged in and passionate about design, art, fashion, photography and culture.
  • You should be proficient in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects (or other similar editing and animation software). Video editing skills preferable.
  • A clear understanding of typography, layout and colour
  • You should have a clear understanding and love of social media platforms, including TikTok and Instagram.
  • You should have, and be able to present, a portfolio of relevant design work. This could be professional or personal work, but clearly demonstrate your creative thinking and design skill set. This should be shared as a link to an online portfolio (preferable) or as a pdf (strictly no larger than 10MB max please).
Where will you be?
This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in our beautiful Adelphi office, with breathtaking views over the Thames, and next to the hustle and bustle of The Strand.
