The opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a fashion design and development specialist to play a key role contributing to the undergraduate Fashion Design & Development course at the London College of Fashion.
You will have a variety of responsibilities, such as undertaking teaching, unit management, curriculum development and research in fashion product design and development.
This will include delivering workshops, lectures, 1-1 tutorials and practical demonstrations on the process for creative and innovative design as well as industry level analysis from micro and macro perspectives, sustainable manufacturing solutions and systems thinking.
We want our students to rethink  current industry practices and with your experience and guidance you will provide them with the skills, opportunities and freedom to put those ideas into practice.

About you
Key to this post will be the ability to actively contribute to the organisation and management of the course and student experience and pastoral care. You will also need to be able to lead on design and flat and 3D pattern and garment development techniques, in addition to giving on-going tutorial support, constructive guidance and feedback.
Teaching and learning experience and/or equivalent industry experience in fashion design and product development is also essential, preferably covering womenswear and menswear.
