For our UK office we are recruiting a full-time (12 month Fixed Term Contract): Licensing Manager
Is this the role for you?
The licensing manager´s key function is to profitably grow existing licensee business, drive new business and represent Paramount to our external partners.
Plan, develop and deliver the adult softlines UK Consumer Products Strategy
Achieve/exceed revenue targets set for softlines categories, supporting the category director through budget planning and LRP
Build 2-year strategic plan alongside Snr category manager by franchise and licensee to deliver revenue growth
Identify gaps in category/licensee portfolios and target new partners to fill these
Build, implement and deliver UK Adult fashion collaboration strategy in line with global collaborations strategy
Lead day to day management of Primark DTR account to include: building 2 year strategic plans, budget setting, forecasting, performance analysis, creative brief setting
Deliver annual sales target through management of forecasting process for licensees, and tracking actual reported sales against forecast
Review forecast submissions with licensees and establish clear financial targets by partner
Legal & Contract Management
Creative and Product Development
Work collaboratively with creative, PD teams
Work closely with licensee on new product development and style guide interpretation
Identify creative licensee immersion/ creative best-practice sessions as required
Build strong relationships and be actively involved in day to day management of licensee base
Drive regular strategic meetings for wider business planning
Establish regular competitor analysis to understand size of competitor business, product category, retailer
Lead retail planning for fast fashion accounts
Handle retail & buyer relationships within your category sector.
Regular buyer meetings to share franchise, licensing planning and insights.
Understand and react to sales performance, build strategic plans
Work with the Retail Licensing Manager in identifying and driving tactical opportunities outside of key retail accounts to maximise business revenues
Conduct seasonal store visit and present back findings and opportunities back to the wider Consumer Products division at team meetings
Insightful and persuasive salesperson, able to identify commercial opportunities and align our brands to those opportunities.
