Our BBC StoryWorks Programme Partnerships team is responsible for the creation of award-winning digital series for BBC.com’s global audiences outside the UK. Combining our BBC storytelling heritage with industry expertise, we look deeper into the issues shaping society for organisations leading change.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Executive will support all members of the Programme Partnerships team to ensure the distribution of the beautiful films, articles and podcasts our team produce for organisations around the world.
Project leadership in the design and delivery on digital marketing campaigns to global audiences
Monitoring the success of campaigns and initiatives through research and working closely with our data analyst – working to meet the core KPIs of each series
Work with the wider BBC Programme Partnerships team to identify opportunities for internal marketing, award entries and hosting events
Effective communication with our editorial, production and commercial colleagues, working collaboratively across the team to deliver each series campaign
Aware of developments in the field of marketing and technology/digital trends, maintains links with the industry and incorporates into marketing plans where possible.
Multi-Media Marketing Expertise: Extensive experience delivering digital campaigns from brief to evaluation.
Project Management Skills: Strong organisational and prioritisation skills with the ability to manage a heavy workload and juggle a number of tasks.
Strong Presentation Skills: Confident presenter, skilled at presenting to internal stakeholders and clients both virtually and in-person.
Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail and an ability to interpret data and enact change that will enable our team to achieve our campaign KPIs.
Passionate: Strong work ethic, interested in the industry, an eagerness to learn and a passion for all things marketing.
Creative: Creativity to help build out marketing campaigns to deliver award-winning digital campaigns.
Stakeholder Management: Ability to build strong, collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Paid Social Experience: Previous experience on paid social campaigns using ad managers on Meta, LinkedIn and YouTube / Google
Social content creation & editing skills: Experience of creating content for social media, such as editing TikTok videos.
Social awareness: Understanding of social landscape and interest in staying clued up to latest trends & campaigns

Salary: Up to £27,500 - £31,000 + London Weighting (£5,319) depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights.
Location: This is a hybrid role and the successful candidate will balance office working with home working. Office Base is London, Television Centre.
