Description

Role Purpose:
Supporting the Head of Brand and Creative Production on special projects, campaign planning, trade and activations across Fortnum’s omni channels.
Reports to:
Head of Brand and Creative Production
Key interfaces:
The role holder will interact with multiple parties across the company including Fortnum’s Management Group, and other business leaders. In addition to supplying administrative reports the role holder will liaise regularly with the central functions and internal departments, such as Online, Commercial Finance, Marketing, Hospitality and Retail. The role will also involve working with key external suppliers.
Key Accountabilities:
  • Support the development of brand-led initiatives, marketing campaigns, product launches, events & exhibitions, hospitality and place-making activities that enhance brand loyalty and customer experience.
  • Provide continuous support for critical events such as The Food & Drink Awards and the production of Christmas brochures.
  • Oversee the production requirements for motion content, including the deadlines, asset requirements, deliveries and sample management.
  • Coordinate successful delivery of key annual events, marketing and brand related collateral and commercial activity via internal communication of plans, supporting graphic requests, coordinating events, cross-functional and supplier liaison, and developing briefing.
  • Working closely with the creative, digital and print agencies, and key internal teams and stakeholders, to ensure all activities are briefed, developed and executed well against our objectives, delivered on time and on budget.
  • Assisting with the production and performance of multimedia content.
  • Support the commercial finance team in monitoring marketing team budgets.
  • Support marketing events and projects showing project management skills and demonstrating initiative.
  • Writing copy briefs, where required for POS, brand creatives and event descriptions
  • Develop strong working relationships with all cross-functional and agency teams, including Creative agencies, digital and marketing teams, retail, Piccadilly and Corby warehouses, buying team, hospitality and finance.

  • Consistent research of marketplace, key competitor trends, innovation and consumer behaviour.
  • Maintaining tracking data analytics.
Role Specific Criteria (Experience/Behaviours/Technical Ability):
This role requires a proactive and organised person with a creative mind and can-do attitude. Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach are essential to the role.
We also expect the successful candidate to have the following skills and experience:
  • Excellent Microsoft office skills
  • Be really resilient and be able to manage up
  • Diary management to ensure that managers attend meetings punctually.
  • Robust experience of the CRM systems and processes and reporting mechanisms to enable a function that is growing and maturing at speed
  • Digitally savvy
  • An ability to challenge, build credibility with a wide range of audiences and work with integrity/confidentiality at all times
