Description

The Role…
We are looking for a People advisor to support one of our regional People teams in London. The People Partner will work with and report directly into the People Manager. This is a fast-moving business so we are looking for the right individual to be autonomous and be able to pick up multiple tasks and projects at once. The role requires the right balance between understanding business strategy/objectives, and being able to deliver the principles in a people capacity.
You will input to the overall people plan strategy and ensure we are striving to serve our operational sites with empathy. Our people team need to be in the heart of conversations and decisions therefore there will be an expectation that the successful candidate will naturally be able to harness relationships with employees up to Senior Management.
Our culture is pacey but supportive, so you must be able to work in synergy with your peers and the different departments around you. Being an active communicator is a must and we are looking for someone to help us roll out initiatives to the wider business. The role will help us deliver an ambitious Diversity and Inclusion plan so the candidate will work to set timescales with success markers to communicate back to our leaders. The role will require jumping between long-term investment in company culture with short- and long-term business goals. The People Advisor must be a passionate leader who will inspire the surrounding teams and educate, advise and influence business leaders.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of HR experience in a fast paced and professional environment
  • Proven success of “champion of the culture,” facilitating excellent communication and employee engagement across a global and diverse organisation
  • Team focused with an understanding of the bigger picture and how you can contribute
  • Able to effectively manage different stakeholders and be persuasive
  • Breadth of experience across the entire HR function
  • Able to switch from a strategic planner to ensuing all basics of the department are covered (i.e. induction, starters, leavers, etc).
  • Fluency across a variety of HR disciplines, e.g. organisational development, leadership and talent development, HR process design and HRIS, compensation management, HR administration and diversity and inclusion
  • CIPD qualification (working towards or achieved) would be an advantage
