Job Title: People Operations Manager, People Team

The  People  Team  sits  at  the  heart  of  Warner  Music  Group  and  is  focused  on  attracting,  retaining,  and  developing  exceptional  people,  enabling  them  to  be  the  best  they  can  be  to  drive  Warner’s  continued  success  in  the  marketplace.
Your role:
We  are  diligent  about  what  we  do,  always  striving  for  better,  willing  to  go  the  extra  mile  and  happy  to  roll  up  our  sleeves  to  support  our  colleagues.  We  are  seeking  to  appoint  an  experienced  and  highly  motivated  individual  ready  to  step  into  the  People  Operations  Manager  role  to  support  our  employees  across  the  employment  life  cycle.
As  part  of  the  People  Experience  and  Solutions  Function  (PESF)  you  are  customer  centric,  a  problem  solver  and  have  a  passion  for  delivering  great  People  Operations.  As  part  of  our  global  team,  you  are  based  in  the  UK  providing  the  first  levelsupport/resolution for  HR  inquiries  maintaining  compliance  with  our  Service  Level  Agreement  (SLA)  and  UK  legislation.  You  will  use  Workday,  Service  Now  and  Google  Suite  to  support  you  in  delivering People Operations for WMG.
Here you’ll get to:
  • Provide operational support acting as the first point of contact to employees, managers and executives  to resolve People Operations issues ensuring our commitment to DEI
  • Work with centres of excellence (COEs) and People Partners to ensure on time execution of People Operations queries and correspondence
  • Ensure onboarding and offboarding actions are undertaken to our high standards, including and not  limited to: owning transacting in Workday HCM; delivering day 1 orientation and supporting compliance  actions e.g. Right to Work checks, requested exit interviews and processing terminations
  • Update and maintain Workday HCM and other WMG people technology, ensuring employee record  keeping with accuracy and efficiency, in line with GDPR and compliance regulations, including  undertaking HCM reporting as required
  • Act as a trusted colleague supporting sensitive and confidential matters while engaging with executives  using discretion and sound judgement
Process Improvement
  • Support  the  People  Team  across  the  hire  to  retire  spectrum  (HtR)  ensuring  all  People  Team  workflows  deliver best in class efficient outcomes that are inclusive and ensure a great user experience.
Payroll Administration
  • Working  with  our  3rd  party  managed  payroll  service  provider  (OSV)  to  ensure  exceptional  service  delivery in UK payroll processing
  • Ensuring  Workday  HCM  transactions  forstarters/leavers/promotions/changes and  supporting  remuneration and relevant payroll inputs are correct and on time
  • Delivery  of  associated  payroll  administration  to  outlined  compliance  standards  so  that  transactions  are  correct and actioned on time
About you:
  • Experience  in  People  Operations  across  end  to  end  employee  life  cycle  including  and  not  limited to: onboarding/offboarding, UK Payroll Administration, performance management
  • Experience  of process   improvement  -  including  ability  to  scale  and  embed  HR  process,  review  and  monitor of HR process/ways of working to deliver business efficiency and great employee experience
  • Experience of best in class HR and have an excellent generalist understanding of a HR function
  • Up  to  date  knowledge  of  UK  employment  legislation  including Right   to  Work,  GDPR,  DSAR,  equality  legislation and able to  provide advice and guidance on HR policy/procedure and payroll matters
  • Experience  of  using HRIS to optimise HR process  to   deliver  business  objectives  and  positive  employee  experience. In WMG we use Workday HCM
  • Advanced  skills  in  Google suite   and  good  numeracy  skills  to be  able  to   complete  accurate  routine  HR  calculations
  • Exceptional  verbal  and  written  communication  skills  and  are  able  to  write business-appropriate communication for various audiences
  • Exceptional attention to  detail,  experience  of  prioritising competing demands and   able  to  work  independently to exacting deadlines
  • Experience of  managing  high volume   employment administration including liaising  with  employees/managers and 3rd parties to deliver successful outcomes
  • Excellent customer  service  experience  -  utilising  stakeholder  manager  skills  and  building  positive  working   relationships with  cross   functional  teams  (e.g. finance/ accountspayable)  and  external 3rd parties
  • At least 4 days per week Warner London office
