THE ROLE
We are seeking a motivated, passionate, high performing individual to join our global team and you will be responsible for:
  • Working effectively with colleagues from across the business eg finance, product, ad-sales etc) as you will deliver cross-functional initiatives which contribute to:
- The strategic ambitions of the division (GM&S) and BBC Studios
- Growing the business and therefore the commercial revenues.
  • Facilitation – helping teams to work better together using collaborative methods to problem solve & find efficient solutions.
  • Strong storytelling through PowerPoint – being proficient with the tool and having a creative approach to sharing a complex narrative with the audience will be an important attribute
  • Projects which deliver business change, enhance effectiveness and ensure continuous improvement/simplification.

WHAT DOES IT TAKE?

  • You’ll be a project management expert, ideally with experience gained in global, complex environments. You will be adept at change management with experience of leading and playing a key role in shaping and applying controls to fast turn around projects.
  • Using your general project management experience, you will be accountable for applying  the most appropriate project delivery methodology as needed to deliver a successful outcome.
  • You will be adept at working with a wide range of colleagues across disciplines.
  • You’re a team player, determined to succeed for yourself and those around you. You can adapt your style and approach to connect effectively with people in our business and the wider industry.
  • You’ll be a persuasive and engaging, communicator able to influence senior stakeholders and achieve high levels of business engagement.
  • You’re an expert translator, deciphering complex concepts and ideas and delivering them in a way which resonates with your colleagues, securing buy in and action.
  • You’ll have experience of delivering complex projects that drive business performance and transformation.
  • A recognised project management qualification (e.g., PRINCE2, APMQ, MSP, Scrum Master) would be beneficial.
  • Demonstrable experience in leading and managing large complicated (multifaceted) projects.
  • Demonstrable record of successful project delivery (including leading teams, budgeting, planning, quality management, problem solving, reporting, managing risk).
  • Self-starting with ability to empower teams and colleagues to focus on achieving goals.
  • Excellent communication (spoken, written, listening), social, interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and reach agreement with difficult stakeholders, navigating ambiguous, changeable and complex environments to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Experience of project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Monday.com, Miro, Visio, risk management tools).
We're looking to hold interviews on W/C 13th May. These will take place in-person at Television Centre, London.
PACKAGE DESCRIPTION
Job Reference: 14576 Band: D Salary: Up to £48,000 plus London Weighting depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience. The expected salary range for this role reflects internal benchmarking and external market insights. Contract Type: Permanent Location: London - Television Centre
Working Pattern: Hybrid Working (Mix of working from home plus two/three days a week in the office).
