This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Digital Content Creator to join our growing Digital Content team within our new digital label Zoo 55, part of ITV Studios.
You’ll be responsible for creating, ideating and scheduling content for important ITV B2C channels, predominantly across ITV Sport and other key B2CI TV channels.
Within this role you will be a dynamic team-player, working hand-in-glove with the ITV Sport team, as well as our M&E stakeholders, creating exciting content and ensuring videos are uploaded and fully optimised with compelling thumbnails, descriptive metadata and best-in-class channel presentation.
We're looking for a highly creative and commercially minded individual with a proven track record in video editing, YouTube content management, copywriting and social media best practices. Beyond video editing, your expertise in SEO and understanding of YouTube and social media algorithms will be crucial in driving engagement and expanding ITV's reach across the digital landscape.
This role is integral to increasing ITV’s exposure across YouTube, social media and the global AVOD market, so having a keen interest in these areas would be highly beneficial.
The role will entail but not be limited to:
Working hand-in-glove with the ITV Sport and ITV M&E teams to create, edit and produce content for those respective channels
Develop and implement a data-driven content strategy to maximise the reach and engagement, as well as support content production and ideation
Analyse audience insights to optimise content performance across the channel/s
Ensure content adheres to brand and editorial guidelines, being reactive and sensitive towards guidelines across the different types of programming worked with
Develop and maintain a system for tracking and logging video content with key stakeholders
Identify trends and opportunities to expand audience reach and commercial revenues
Collaborate with the Digital Channels Manager and team to develop and implement new content strategies
Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative work environment
Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
A proven track record and real passion for Sports and Sports content, with a keen interest and understanding of how Sports content works on YouTube
Proven video editing skills and industry experience using Adobe Creative Suite
Proven track record creating YouTube and social media content strategies
In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and how they work
Experience in utilising data and insights to optimise content strategy
Ability to mentor and guide junior team members on video editing and content creation best practices
