THE GIG
This position is responsible for the execution and delivery of the EMEA Digital trading strategy, driving overall performance with the relevant teams to optimise on-site conversion, traffic, revenue and margin for the 10 EMEA websites. This individual will take a proactive role in overseeing the commercial plan, managing risks and opportunities and working cross functionally with the channel leads, trade and marketing teams to deliver targets.
This individual will lead 2 key teams within Digital; Trade & VM and Content, including E-commerce Managers and Leads for the largest websites within EMEA (UK, Germany, France and Italy).
  • Collaborate with the Head of E-Commerce to develop and deliver the annual, quarterly and monthly budgets, with a key focus on maximising revenue, margin and profitability.
  • Oversee website and campaign performance with a strong focus on improving the on-site customer experience, key E-commerce metrics (including traffic, conversion and AOV, ROAS) and leveraging insights across the business including Retail, wholesale and marketing to accelerate trade.
  • Responsible for the Digital trade calendar, ensuring content and campaigns planned are exciting, in line with our brand values, product strategy and marketing initiatives, incorporating promotional activities and ensuring these are localised by market for the 10 EMEA websites.
  • Responsible for the daily/ weekly/ annual sales forecasting for the distribution centres (in both the UK and NL), ensuring this is accurate and any material variances to plan are minimised and communicated to the logistics team.
  • Drive our promotional strategy and deliver the launch of key sale periods throughout the year with the trade team to clear through obsolete stock, ensuring full price mix and margin is optimised.
  • Closely collaborate with the EMEA merchandising and product teams to deliver the product and newness strategy whilst managing stock levels, driving sell through, overseeing the intake tracker and flagging risks and ops to the business with a plan to mitigate/ accelerate where possible.
  • Accountable for the development of the EMEA search and merchandising strategy, ensuring our third-party vendor is providing a best-in-class customer experience on-site, challenging where necessary.
  • Oversee with the development and prioritisation of key trading / content AB tests, initiatives and platform enhancements put forward for the 90-day planning process for content and trade.
  • Provide strong line management and coaching, developing a people strategy that inspires a high performing cross-functional team and drives engagement and retention.
  • Leverage our DTC exclusives and collaborations, ensuring a successful launch plan and feeding back insights into the business (including global) to drive continuous improvement, including content requirements that help amplify story-telling and capturing key product learnings.
  • Work with the customer service team to optimise the customer journey on-site based on contact reasons and oversee the co-ordination of delivery SLA’s, updating where necessary.
  • Monitor external developments including tech trends, trade performance, retail insights and relevant platform updates (e.g Google and Apple) to stay abreast of new strategies and tactics.

  • Proven ability working in a hands-on fast-moving environment to agreed deadlines and moving priorities.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to present to senior stakeholders and build relationships with ease.
