Job Description Summary :

The role of Senior Motion Graphics Artist sees you working in a multidisciplinary film team and collaborating with all business units across Havas Lynx Group. As a Senior Motion Graphics Artist you will play a key role in defining the overall aesthetic of projects, as well as defining methods and techniques. You will push boundaries with creative ideas; you will be a positive, solutions-focussed individual with a passion for the new and exciting.

A Senior Motion Graphics Artist is at the top of their game and sets the standard for creative excellence, support in the Post-Production department of a multidisciplinary film team whilst consistently delivering visually excellent work. You will maintain the vision and values of Studio 6 Life and Havas Lynx Group, that lead to the day-to-day smooth running of production and the department.

You will be responsible for bringing storyboards and assets to life through motion graphics on a variety of projects.

As a natural leader, you will lead and inspire your team to deliver an efficient and effective service; whilst creating space for their personal growth and development.

You will be accountable for driving and producing impactful, original, intelligent motion graphics for a variety of projects that impress the client and surpasses their needs. You will instinctively identify opportunities to share information, knowledge, and experience to broaden the skillset of the wider team. Your vast knowledge and experience will be used to support the department, developing their skills and capabilities, owning compliance and quality control.
Job Description :
Main Duties:
Technical knowledge and specialism
Create visually striking 2D and 3D animations from supplied artwork and conceptual briefs, providing creative expertise and delivering output to the expected technical, accuracy and content standards
You will be an expert in Cinema 4D, the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects and Premiere Pro.
Know how various audiences consume content on different platforms, and adapt your creative approach accordingly
Contribute to the ideation process and offer creative solutions where appropriate to fulfil internal and external briefs
Ensure the work that you produce is completed to deadline and is of a high quality, demonstrating accuracy, attention to detail and ownership
Support and coach the team to deliver high quality post-production animations, providing your technical and creative expertise and offering solutions to troubleshoot where needed
Continue to be hands on with high-profile post-production motion graphics projects, that meets technical accuracy and content standards, and exceeds the brief
Pro-actively contribute to the ideation process and offer strategic and creative recommendations to push the boundaries and exceed expectations
Confidently present work both internally and externally where appropriate, engaging the audience and adapting your approach accordingly
Pro-actively seek out and take onboard internal and external feedback to strengthen your craft and create the best possible output, making amends as necessary with a positive attitude
Lead by example in developing and championing internal processes and being disciplined with project organisation and filing
Coaching, client service and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team
Ensure yourself and your team come well prepared to briefing meetings to develop a thorough understanding of the brief and what everyone’s contribution is
Anticipate any potential challenges with your work and offer solutions, regularly keeping all relevant parties updated
Lead by example in all aspects of organisation, process, and attention to detail
Take responsibility for the work that you produce, ensuring it is completed to the deadline, is of a high quality, demonstrating accuracy, attention to detail and ownership
Actively foster an atmosphere of positive working that allows creative and effective work to flourish
Understanding and working with the agency
Understand the roles and responsibilities of other agency departments and manage their involvement in projects appropriately
Ensure appropriate admin / briefing / scheduling procedures required by other agency departments are understood and adhered to at all times
Build relationships with key stakeholders of the department and the wider business and raise the profile of the work you produce
Ensure that the department is represented correctly and pro-actively promote the offerings of the team
Champion and contribute to the goals of Havas Lynx Group
Industry knowledge and new learning
Research new ways of editing and continually review practices as part of your team
Ensure that you keep up to date with relevant industry advancements, and proactively share this internally and externally, as appropriate
