We're looking for a Senior UI Designer (9 month fixed term contract) to join our Product Design team and play a key role shaping the user experience of our newly launched recipe app, Feast, which has already attracted thousands of users from all over the world within its first few months. It's an exciting time to join the project as we now look to build on and build out new components for the next version of Feast, exploring both editorial and commercial experiences in the app.
We're looking for someone to bring their design expertise to the project and contribute to:
Evolving the UI and core icon set as we introduce new interactions and experiences
Evolving the core UI with new integrated shopping experiences
Improving usability of step by step cooking experiencing
Developing a commentating and rating experience
Developing search and personalisation
As a Senior UI Designer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to create meaningful and accessible designs that align with user needs and business goals.
You'll design and develop visually appealing, intuitive and accessible designs, ensuring a consistent and engaging user experience
You'll develop interactive prototypes and gather feedback from both users and key stakeholders to refine design concepts and improve journeys
An in-depth understanding of our existing product set and awareness of the key markets we operate in
Solid foundational knowledge of graphic design principles, such as typography, colour theory and visual hierarchy
A solid understanding and belief in user-centred design principles and accessibility standards while also being able to demonstrate the business value of a user-centred approach
Experience working across iOS, Android and web platforms, with an understanding of their unique design nuances
