Description

Job Summary:
Provides translation from English into French, as well as editing and proofreading of existing French in-game text and ancillary materials. Performs any other duties as directed by the Localisation Manager/Localisation Project Managers/Localisation Producers.
Requirements
Key Deliverables:
  • Translation of English in-game text into French
  • Translation & editing of printed materials, marketing materials, PR copy and other related text.
Knowledge & Experience:
Essential:
  • Previous translation or editing experience within the games industry.
  • Native-level knowledge of French
  • High proficiency in English
Desirable:
  • Translation degree/diploma
  • Basic Japanese speaking (business level)
Competencies, Skills & Attributes:
Essential:
  • Good Microsoft Office skills
Desirable:
  • Knowledge of translation tools
Other:
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Clear communication skills (verbal & written)
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight, rolling deadlines
  • A keen interest in computer games

We have a hybrid working policy which allows employees to work from the comfort of their home, three days per week, and in our amazing Blackfriars office for the other two.
