Working on assignments for print, digital, environmental, interactive and broadcast projects, the Studio has writing, design, production and content capabilities. We drive projects across the full spectrum of Bloomberg, both internally and externally. We work across a global workflow, with staff in major Bloomberg offices. About us:
Join our dynamic team in the Bloomberg Marketing Studio as a Web Product Manager in our London office. As part of the Global Web Products team, you'll champion our web offerings, driving strategic enhancements to meet business objectives while optimizing user experience across the web. It’s a complex role requiring an understanding from a strategic perspective of why you should do a project, what technology could be used to achieve it, what it could look like, and how it could work. A digital specialist, but also a jack of all trades when it comes to understanding digital strategy, UX, business analysis, design, copywriting, SEO, development, QA, and analytics. This is accomplished by utilizing creative and technical skills, providing proper support and maintenance, as well as closely working with designers, developers, and other specialists as a unified team. Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with marketing managers, designers, and web development teams to optimize functionality and features, staying ahead of market changes
  • Prioritize product backlog in alignment with business goals, ensuring clear communication with stakeholders
  • Provide clear guidance to development and design teams on feature prioritization and delivery
  • Manage day-to-day updates and oversee larger-scale enhancements.
  • Resolve platform issues in collaboration with web engineers and the larger Digital Marketing team
  • Gather requirements through stakeholder management and validate requests against metrics
  • Test and review completed requests in a QA environment before deployment
  • Continuously optimize pages for performance and SEO enhancements
You'll need to have:
  • Ideally, 3+ years of experience in web production/product management.
  • Proficiency in content management systems, especially WordPress
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, SEO, SEM, Google Tag Manager, and Google Analytics
  • Experience in Agile engineering environments
  • Familiarity with Webflow preferred.
  • Track record in developing, testing, and deploying marketing campaigns
  • Exceptional relationship management and communication skills
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing concepts and best practices
  • Familiarity with web UX design principles
  • Proven creative problem-solving expertise, adept at innovatively tackling complex challenges
We’d love to see:
  • Experience in a large, sophisticated in-house digital or web team
  • Background in a fast-moving multinational company
  • Knowledge of financial markets and institutional financial services is advantageous
