About

Cloakroom is a bi-annual print magazine and digital platform launching on October 1st 2019. A new voice in contemporary culture, Cloakroom re-frames and re-imagines a collective obsession with design and interiors by offering hyper-specific life style through interviews, commentary and photographic portfolios from the creative industry’s most influential photographers and writers. With wit and rigour, and an inclusive rather than elitist attitude to storytelling, our aim is to refresh design publishing in an interview format. ABOUT THE EDITOR Claudia Donaldson is an Editor and Creative Director working in print and digital media for 20 years. In 2013, as Editor in Chief of NOWNESS, the global video platform previously owned by LVMH, Claudia launched a program of flagship series and episodic video strands establishing it as the foremost channel in reaching an audience otherwise inaccessible via traditional media. During her tenure at Wallpaper* Claudia steered the visual redirection of the magazine post Tyler Brulé, collaborating with both undergraduates and established artists to radically change the identity of the magazine. She continues to support a global roster of filmmakers, photographers and writers creating work that consistently challenges widespread narratives in storytelling.
