Leyden Gallery is fast building a reputation as a vibrant and forward-thinking gallery that shows work by both new and established artists. Previous shows have featured Paula Rego, Antony Micallef, Henry Moore, and Wilhelmina Barns-Graham. Work commissioned for their inaugural exhibition Fabricate was shown at the Tate Gallery Liverpool in April 2014. Leyden Gallery recently held a Christine Taylor Patten exhibition co-curated by the esteemed feminist art historian Griselda Pollock. Patten’s drawings have since gone on to show at the Istanbul Biennial 2015. Now in its fifth year, Leyden Gallery has entered an exciting and ascendant period as it steadily builds strong rapports with a select group of artists as well as using its boundary pushing creative outlook to excel as an event space, curating the best underground art events in London. Previous events and workshops have been highlighted by Time Out, Secret London and more.
