SEMES is an advanced contemporary womenswear & accessories brand made for women UK size 4 – 24. We design modern and effortlessly luxurious pieces, offered three times a year. Hello I’m Susan! The idea for SEMES was birthed 10 years ago when I was a plus-size fashion student with a keen interest in luxury fashion. I often found myself in high-end clothing shops where there was nothing available in my size. And on the rare occasion that there was, it was in a poorly lit back corner – the ‘plus-size section’ – where the few pieces on offer were not even the same styles as the standard size set. I was painfully aware that people my size were not welcomed into these luxury spaces. It was then that I made a promise to myself that I would one day start my own brand and that it be size inclusive. Fast-forwarding to today, I have created SEMES grounded in the belief that style isn’t size specific. Anchored in tailoring, each SEMES piece is meticulously handcrafted with exceptional materials, carefully sourced, and expertly made-to-order in small production batches.
