South Social Film Festival

South Social Film Festival is a not for profit that creates immersive movie, dance, music & dining experience, celebrating independent world cinema. First launched in 2015, South Social dedicates every event to a different COUNTRY, turning into a platform to celebrate DIVERSITY, community inclusion and emerging talents. We produce 6 festivals per year in London, ONE NIGHT, ONE COUNTRY. A series of special events focusing mainly on BAME communities and their unique cultures. in the last 5 years we organised 30 festivals , covering 25 different countries, inviting 50 filmmakers, 20 musicians, 20 dancers and several regional catering. We explore the regional cinema of each country to showcase the culture at its best, films that stand out with an unconventional aesthetic approach, that tell powerful stories and transmit an authentic image of their cultural roots.
