The house was founded by Savile Row-trained tailors Thom Whiddett and Luke Sweeney. They met in 2003 at Timothy Everest, one of the most influential tailors of the day, when Thom was Head Cutter and Luke managed the house's made-to-measure service. Soon after they started working together, they decided to go their own way. Fifteen years later, Thom Sweeney is a leading British luxury brand with an international reputation and clientele; renowned for understanding how men dress today.
