L'Oreal Colour Trophy
On 13th June 2016, Urban Retreat’s Artistic and Technical Director, Tracey Gallagher took centre stage at the final of the L’Oreal Colour Trophy 2016 to win the Men’s Image Award 2016. Following a 6 month creative journey, Tracey and the team fought off strong competition and wowed the panel of high profile judges with her stunning fashion focused look. The judging panel each agreed that Tracey had met the brief and that her model was the perfect example of a precision cut, flawless looking colour and catwalk inspired styling. The L’Oreal Colour Trophy is the longest running live hairdressing competition in the world. Starting in 1954, the industry’s fashion-focused, trend-led competition showcases some of the brightest hairdressing talents across the country. The awards continue to inspire the industry around the world, giving salons and artist the opportunity to shine and prove what they are made of.
