500 Portraits presents a unique selection of some of the most exciting contemporary portraits selected for the National Portrait Gallery’s annual competition. The BP Portrait Award is the world’s leading showcase for artists working in portraiture. This book brings together some of these portraits in a celebration of our enduring fascination with different human faces.
The brief for this project was to create a publication that, while working alongside existing BP Portrait Award catalogues, would be a collectable, standalone reference.
