---------------------------
Bloody Good Period aims to create a sustainable flow (pun intended) of menstrual protection for those who can't afford to buy them. Menstrual supplies are not cheap, but for anyone with a period, they are, of course, an absolute necessity. Many women and people who menstruate living in poverty resort to using toilet paper, old scraps of fabric or nothing at all. Bloody Good want to take the financial burden out of the most annoying time of the month by providing supplies to those who need them. They currently supply 16 asylum seeker drop in centres based in London and Leeds.”

Birdsong London: Making it happen: “The feminists leading an ethical fashion revolution.”
With a mantra of ‘no sweatshop, no Photoshop’, Birdsong is an emerging fashion brand with ethical and feminist principles at its core. Birdsong revolutionise the way we shop, by sourcing their products from a variety of women’s organisations. Their founders Sarah and Sophie, are targeting their generation of millennials who want to look great, but not at any cost.
From refugee seamstresses to octogenarian knitters, the brand brings together women with non-traditional backgrounds. Combining the skills of these women's groups with the talent of young contemporary designers, Birdsong bring their brand to life using street-cast models.

Beyond Retro: Beyond Retro is a vintage clothing retailer with shops in the UK and Sweden. The first Beyond Retro store was opened in a disused dairy on Cheshire Street in East London in 2002.
Taking trends seriously. The Beyond Retro team scour fashion runways, global street style, edgy editorial and (most importantly) our own team and customers to determine what’s next in fashion, which informs what we pick from yesterday’s closets. Fanatical about vintage yet extremely precise, product is sourced up to six months in advance, aided by a sophisticated information management system that gives constant internal trend updates. This helps respond to shifts in the fashion zeitgeist on a weekly and monthly basis.
THINX: a New York based company that makes feminine hygiene products.
"Our washable, reusable undies absorb your period and are a more sustainable solution than single-use disposable products. Depending on your flow (light, medium, heavy), THINX can replace pads, tampons, liners, and cups, or be worn with tampons and cups for extra protection. Like regular underwear, but so much better."
