The Brief: To create a graduate collection that draws upon your existing pre-collection for inspiration, and developing previously acquired skills and techniques to best showcase who you are as a designer. Outcome: 5 Fully manufactured outfits, developmental & final toiles, physical and digital portfolio, sketchbook & research, design development, tech packs, tech folder & sampling, stylised photoshoot, pitch presentation, personal development plan. Collection Statement: Through the application of Scandinavian design principles to fashion, this collection has been designed and made with sustainability in mind, combining functionality with minimalist beauty. Through the mergence of furniture design with silhouettes from 1960’s/70’s counter culture, this collection explores innovative pattern cutting and print using sustainable fabrics and practices.
