The ADC New York Annual call for entries was clear: they wanted us to come up with an idea that focused on the ADC’s long tradition of supporting arts & crafts in advertising. We came up with the “Let the art decide” concept, which reinforces the idea that the best arts & crafts work would be judged by the world’s leading art experts. The concept comes alive as one of Yoshitomo Nara’s dog sculptures evaluates some of the year’s best advertising work, along with other “art experts” in the print scene. The campaign was promoted in every major advertising and digital design channel and the ADC 92nd annual awards received a deluge of responses.
