Campfire presents Big Boost Mondays - Pushing boundaries of the Arts
Campfire presents Big Boost Monday is a monthly event on the first Monday of every month held at FORA Forum in Clerkenwell, London. The night is a gathering of tech, art and culture where I talk with an inspirational individual to share their insight through an immersive show & tell type set up. In the second instalment of Campfire presents Big Boost Mondays I was joined by ground-breaking Festival Curator and Artistic Director Jo Mangan. Jo shared her vast experience of the industry in an honest and passionate expression of joy, angst and love for contemporary performance, ephemeral moments and transformative production.
With a career spanning 30 years all over the globe, Jo has created theatre and produced exhibitions through a myriad of mediums, from VR, aerial acrobats, opera to street festivals. For the past 3 years Jo has been the director of the award-winning Carlow Arts Festival in Ireland where she continues to make arts and performance accesible to those who may not have traditionally been engaged.
