Fettle — Brand Identity

Interior design studio Fettle, asked us to create a new brand identity for themselves, along with a portfolio website to showcase their latest projects. As a studio, they are meticulous in their craft, with an attention to detail bordering on obsessive. The identity, and all the supporting collateral required, needed to reflect the level of quality they themselves output, across every brand touch-point we delivered for them.

Fettle, by definition, means to remove impurities or unwanted elements, leaving just what is necessary. This core thought inspired the primary ‘F’ logo mark we created, in which we have stripped the letterform back to it’s most reduced state of legibility.
We put the wonderful interior shots of their projects front and centre on the website, while using material, colour and texture throughout the printed collateral to reflect the company’s craft.
