Goldman Sachs STEAM Innovators
Once again I teamed up with the excellent tech platform UKBlackTech to shoot and showcase their Innovators in STEAM (Sciences, technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) photo series. The series was commissioned by Goldman Sachs and put on display at their new £million London HQ for their Black History Month celebrations.
The posters were printed at A1 large format which explained the amazing acheivements of each innovator. The social media posts had the details of each innovator as part of the written section.
I selected the photographer, the style and directed the shoot on the day. The inspiration for this shoot came from how people of influence are often shot for high ranking magazines such as Time and Variety. The portraits will be monochrome as black and white photography gives mood and depth to a portrait and wanted to capture the personality of the innovator. Added interesting angles that would have subject look "pass" the camera into the middle distance to avoid the "passport photo" look.
