Ideas Foundation x Future Creatives
Over the past year, I've been working as a creative tutor in London and Manchester with Ideas Foundation, a charity that introduces young ideas makers to the creative world of advertising, with the aim to impact the school curriculum and boardroom. During our sessions we realised that 2-3 day workshops on one brief were a lot more feasible during the school breaks, but what about after college? before work? There was a gap, these young creatives are looking for more experience in a short amount of time, so why not offer mentorship and experience it all at an agency or brand's HQ.
So we launched Future Creatives, designed by Ideas Foundation, lead and mentorship by myself and organised by Helen Poole and Leonia Goromba from Ideas Foundation. This unique programme aims to continue to introduce people from any background to advertising in its purest form and put them in front of the right people, free of charge, no catch. We've already had two amazing women win work experience, Natalie Bateman and Narveer Noor: so there's room for so much more!
We've brought together our networks I've been proud of the results.
So far we've been located at the following companies:
