Creative Challenge Create a self-funded campaign to celebrate the diversity of the female dance community and increase awareness of the lack of inclusivity for International Women's Day & Women's History Month 2019. Working with a talented photographer, videographer, dancers and producers. Solution I curated the campaign IT TAKES ONE TO MOVE MANY with the hashtag #ittakesone to sit alongside the IWD #balanceforbetter. The message encourages everyone to take small steps to motivate others for a more inclusive future. Placing a call out for dancers in the London area, sourcing a photographer, music producer, videographer, charity and social platform for the video to be hosted on. The campaign aims to send a message of solidarity with individuals and movements that are taking small steps to generate change and to ask ourselves to think about the choices we make and how that influences others. I directed the video to show the individual strength of the people involved and to show how we came together in collaboration, not competition. Although the campaign utilises dance, the message spreads far deeper than that and can be an example to us all.
