The London Transport Museum wanted to create a more dynamic and engaging visitor experience in the Design for Travel gallery.
We were given access to the wonderful archives at the London Transport Depot where we scanned and photographed museum artefacts that can't be displayed due to gallery space constraints.
Projected animated sequences of these digitised museum objects appear to spill from the end wall of the gallery and move across the floor, leading visitors to specific cabinets. Break out animations create a narrative within the textured and layered content.
