As part of Nike Football World Cup 2014 consumer event, Nike SB took over one floor of the Old Sorting Office on New Oxford street and turned it into a free bespoke pop-up skatepark with a photography exhibition and retail space included.
I was the lead for this event, which started with meeting with the client and the skatepark builders in the space and making detailed plans of how it could be transformed to fit all of Nike’s requirements. This involved creating a new gallery space with over 120 original images, integrating retail displays into the environment, building a pop-up football themed skatepark and designing event specific give-aways and a custom football kit to be worn during a media football event.
This was designed, developed and implemented within a month of being briefed, whilst being kept under budget and exceeding Nike’s goal for the activation.
