Open Studios, Secret Santa gifts and typographic Christmas jumpers
The most uttered phrase I’ve heard around me this week has been “I don’t know where to start”. All the artists in the studios around me have been preparing for our in-person Winter Open Studios tomorrow. It’s always so magical to see how the studios get transformed from working spaces into showcases for our work.
Sunday Open Studios
My studio’s in an old Victorian chocolate factory overlooking a pretty cobbled courtyard. I’m surrounded by lots of incredibly talented artists in the neighbouring studios. Most of us will be opening our doors on Sunday (tomorrow) from 11am to 6pm. If you’re based in London it would be lovely to see you and to have a chat.
You can also preview my new multisensory installation ‘Elixir’. I’ll be signing copies of my books including Why Fonts Matter, you can look at sample t-shirts or pick up screen and lino prints, which are only available on open studios days.
