The Hepatitis C Trust’s fundraising arm, Art on a Postcard will transform into Photography on a Postcard for the month of October. We plan to replicate the success we’ve had in the art world with photography and held an open call for upcoming talent to show alongside Wolfgang Tillmans, Martin Parr, Dougie Wallace, Edmund Clark, Tom Hunter, Simon Norfolk, Chris Steele Perkins, Jenny Lewis, Homer Sykes, Eleanor Macnair, David Hoffman and many many more well known and loved photographers.
The public are able to purchase a ticket guaranteeing them a photograph from www.artonapostcard.com/shop/photopostcard, although they won’t know which card they have won until the show closes. The winners will be drawn using a computerised random number generator on Monday 30 October. Each photograph will be an edition of one and will come with a signed certificate of authenticity.
The photographs will be on display at theprintspace, Shoreditch from 12th – 24th October, with a Private View taking place at 7:30pm on 12th October. All the money raised will go to The Hepatitis C Trust’s campaign to eliminate hepatitis C from the UK by the year 2030.
