‘Ease’- is the second commission Studio Warm designed and produced for Canadian technical cashmere brand Kit and Ace, a large ‘Supper Club Table’ with 4 benches, installed to take centre stage in their second permanent store in 7, Park Street, Borough Market.
The elegant ‘Ease’ table and benches created in conjunction with the launch of the new store, will serve as the perfect setting to welcome members of the local creative community to the popular Supper Club the brand hosts in store.
When not in use, the benches simply slide under the Supper Club table and neatly locate into place, copper edge to copper edge. All four benches feature storage for stock, accessible by lifting the bench seats which locate into position on solid stays.
The modern design features a geometric and angular aesthetic. The bespoke table and benches have been beautifully handcrafted from grey stained hand selected timber and feature chamfered corners, accentuated with warm, luxurious brushed copper.
For their first London store in Shoreditch’s Redchurch Street, we had created the light installation 'Second Law'. Crafted from delicate blown, sandblasted glass and brushed copper- akin to a fine piece of jewellery in its execution- the installation reflects the high quality of the soft, technical garments that surround it.
