About me
Corinna Warm is founder and creative director at STUDIO WARM. A graduate of the prestigious Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design, Warm worked with the ‘Who’s Who’ in avant-garde design in Milan and London, before spending three years designing for royal cabinet maker David Linley, where she was exposed to the fundamentals of traditional cabinet making and classical furniture design and production - a turning point in her career which fundamentally changed her focus and design sensibility, instilling a love of natural materials and well crafted, long lasting design. Warm went on to work as an Interior Design consultant on luxury developments across London and later moved into high-end Retail Design working with some of London’s most creative retail and branding agencies. She founded her studio in 2008, following the successful launch of her brand ‘WARM’ during the London Design Festival in 2007. Her collection of high end furniture, traditionally crafted to the highest standard was lauded by industry experts for its high quality and ‘contemporary- classic’ design. The studio has since grown into a boutique design practice working on a diverse mix of projects across disciplines and continues to design and distribute its own label collection. Warm is renowned for her warm, contemporary design and timeless elegance, balanced with an often sculptural aesthetic. Her work is driven by an interest in rich, natural materials and pure and simple - yet functional forms, created with longevity in mind. Her work has been presented in exhibitions in New York, Hong Kong, Stockholm, Paris and Milan and has been published in the national and international press. Corinna Warm was born in Berlin, Germany. She lives and works in London and Los Angeles.

  • Drum Table for Swedese
Drum Table for Swedesehe Drum Side Tables for Scandinavian company Swedese feature beautifully hand turned bowls made from either natural, black or white stained solid ash that are presented within a black or white lacquered frame. The frame consists of three equal profiles that form the base whilst also holding the bowl in place. The bowl simply rests on the frame and can be removed, or should a straight surface be required, reversed within the frame. The charming tables have a unique character and come in three different heights and sit individually or look great when clustered together. • Prop Table for Rocket Gallery
Prop Table for Rocket GalleryUnusual in their shape at first glance, the function and purpose of the sculptural, minimalist coffee and side table only become apparent when placed together and their sloped surfaces create a display for literature. The coffee table ‘has undergone an evolution from functional storage object to pedestal of culture often occupying a place of prestige where we display our cultural connections.’ The coffee table book is given a whole new importance; a statement is made by placing literature, art book or magazine openly on display. The Prop Table was originally commissioned for London’s Rocket Gallery and featured in their exhibition ‘Book a Table’. Dimensions W 1400 x D 400 x H 350mm Made from powder coated steel
  • Second Law Bespoke Lighting Installation for Kit and Ace, Redchurch Street
Second Law Bespoke Lighting Installation for Kit and Ace, Redchurch StreetCanadian Technical Cashmere brand Kit and Ace commissioned us to design a light feature for their recently opened first European store in London's Redchurch Street. Second Law is a site specific lighting installation created for Kit and Ace to be installed above their Supper Club table - used to host events and a central feature across all their stores. With an aesthetic reminiscent of Newton's Cradle, this piece signifies the momentum and energy in which Kit and Ace are expanding internationally. The 'Second Law' Pendant combines both the energetic and luxurious aspects of Kit meets Ace. Crafted from delicate blown, sandblasted glass and brushed copper -akin to a fine piece of jewellery in its execution- the installation reflects the high quality of the soft, technical garments that surround it. Materials: Brushed copper, sandblasted glass Dimensions: W 645mm x D 1000mm x H 1250mm

  • Well Crystal Carafe and Tumbler for Wallpaper* Handmade
Well Crystal Carafe and Tumbler for Wallpaper* HandmadeStudio Warm was commissioned by Wallpaper* Magazine for the 2018 edition of their Wallpaper* Handmade exhibition to the theme of ‘Wellness + Wonder’. Studio Warm collaborated with Italian crystal company Mario Cioni to create a unique, handcrafted, mouth blown, cut crystal water carafe and drinking glass. The hand cut pattern derived from the ripples formed at the seaside, to the meditative sound of the waves breaking into the shores. Due to the hand cut process on the diamond wheel, each carafe features a unique pattern, just as unique as the ripples formed in nature. The vessels are masterly handcrafted by Mario Cioni Crystal. Wallpaper* Magazine pairs a select group of designers with talented craftsman or manufacturers and commissions them to create one-off pieces for their Wallpaper* Handmade exhibition held anually during Milan Design Week.
