Taxi was an experimental publication produced by Getty Images from 2002 to 2004.
It was attempt to harness the power of editorial design to market image library content. To that end, the magazine Taxi was created.
Taxi presented thousands of images in its brief life, and won a slew of design awards in the process.
Startlingly original editorial content was generated for the publication, with imagery always the starting point. We in the design team tried our best to visualise that content.
