- Getty ImagesGetty Images - Various Projects The Watermark Challenge - How do you change the perception of a billion dollar company? Our pitch challenge was to change Getty Images from being perceived as a company that manages copyrights, to an innovation organisation. Idea- We created a pipeline of work that won us the pitch and led to many of the thoughts becoming a reality. Ideas designed to shift the perception of the organisation, beginning with their most visible asset; the watermark. Various initiatives were employed, below are a few more.
- EditEdit by Getty Images was a further expansion of the idea first developed as Taxi. Where Taxi drew its content from only one image collection though, Edit's scope was broadened to include all imagery for which Getty owned copyright. In effect this made Edit the magazine with the largest photography budget in the world. Paul worked with Chris Ashworth, Lewis Blackwell and editor John O'Reilly to create this playful A5 magazine which ranged widely and with good humour.
- TaxiTaxi was an experimental publication produced by Getty Images from 2002 to 2004. It was attempt to harness the power of editorial design to market image library content. To that end, the magazine Taxi was created. Taxi presented thousands of images in its brief life, and won a slew of design awards in the process. Startlingly original editorial content was generated for the publication, with imagery always the starting point. We in the design team tried our best to visualise that content.
