For my MA final project, I created a journal for smart women called The Bluestocking. The name pays homage to an eighteenth century society of the same name that believed that women deserved the same education that was provided to men. The Bluestocking as a brand understands the nuance of young women, that being interested in items of High Culture and Low Culture are not mutually exclusive. Young women’s interests are myriad, and the main ethos of The Bluestocking is to not only champion these interests, but to cultivate them, encourage them, and never cease to feed a young woman’s hunger for knowledge. https://issuu.com/thebluestocking/docs/bsprintspelling__1_
