YOUNG KING

I wrote YOUNG KING in 2018 in response to the murder of yet another unarmed Black man, Botham Shem Jean, after just having met my nephews in Tennessee for the first time. A year later my good friend MckNasty, tricked me into recording the track, produced it and in 2020 we released the piece as a single. To bring it all to life, I asked my incredibly talented friend and creative director Edem Wornoo to come on board and YOUNG KING the film was born.
