YOUNG KINGI wrote YOUNG KING in 2018 in response to the murder of yet another unarmed Black man, Botham Shem Jean, after just having met my nephews in Tennessee for the first time. A year later my good friend MckNasty, tricked me into recording the track, produced it and in 2020 we released the piece as a single.
