Im currently a Fashion Styling and Communication student in my final year studying at De Montfort University in Leicester. I professionally go by 'A.WhiTE', a branding and logo that I created for my work as a fashion communicator in hopes to become a reputable and well established name in the industry. At university, I've been able to explore different skills within the large bracket of fashion communication and have been able to build my portfolio with multiple directions. These skills include fashion styling, photography, CAD, photo editing, working to client briefs and using my research and ideas to build innovative and new concepts for my projects. I am really proud to say that in every single one of my projects, I have had the ability to multi-task in different industry roles, where usually there would be a large team involved, this has allowed me to take ownership and responsibility and shows that I can produce high standard work under various amounts of pressures. I have thoroughly enjoyed my university experience and am hoping to further my career in this opportunistic and challenging industry.
Projects
- Working to a client brief: i:D magazine - Teaching the new gen. This campaign was in collaboration with i-D magazine (following my university brief), answering the question 'Where are we going?', focusing on the topic of 'Teaching the new gen.'. Celebrating that we don't have to conform to the typical gender stereotypes typically found in fashion, even in todays society.
