About me
This year I’ve been travelling South East Asia whilst following my passions of digital branding illustration and sustainable fashion. 2 months ago, I moved to New Zealand for a fresh start and launched my illustrated blog - focusing on topics like fashion sustainability, and being a working class creative. I want my blog to be a platform for sharing work & act as a community. Please reach out if you’re an a designer, painter, graphic designer, brand owner, or any type of creative. Let’s work on a blog piece together to inspire people, educate them on your expertise and advertise your work! ❤️‍🔥 I’ve freelance illustrated since 2020, working on business cards, sticker packs, & t-shirt designs for small fashion brands, as well as an array of custom pieces and prints which I’ve sold hundreds of & sold out multiple times. I’m looking to build on my work in sustainable fashion whether it’s copywriting, illustrating, content creation or engaging with the community. I want it to be a focal point of my creative work going forward. After completing my First-Class degree in Fashion Promotion, I’ve worked for well-known Manchester brands including Koi Footwear (managing & strategising their blog & email channel) and JD Williams (fully focusing on CRM). Outside of this I’ve built up a bold illustration portfolio (check out my cover photo that I illustrated) & have worked with slow fashion initiatives including The Future Fashion Fair CIC and Fassion marketplace.

Feeling hopeless as a working class creative is stupidNew blog post in collaboration with other working class creatives! Working class creatives are at the lowest level in a DECADE And though higher education is more accessible than ever, the progression gap between the most & least advantaged has risen to its highest ever level Why? Nepotism? Wealth disparity? Classism? For a looong time, I’ve wanted to write about mine & others’ experiences as working class creatives (the link is at the bottom of this post) Especially after going to uni

Fashion consumption is stupid ! (But you aren't)Just launched my first ever Substack with a post on why fashion, consumerism, Charli XCX and SHEIN are ruining your life (dramatic? Potentially...) I'm super passionate about this topic & I'm planning on making this blog into a fun social commentary with opportunities to collaborate with people too. The next piece I'm planning is centred around people's experiences as a working class creative. I'd love if anyone checked out my first piece, subscribed and/or wanted to collab with me. PS the a
  • Cav Empt zine/lookbook
Cav Empt zine/lookbookOver lockdown I created a zine/lookbook using my own photography, styling, editing, idea generation and art direction. It was for the high end streetwear brand Cav Empt, which I am a personal fan of in terms of their garments and promotion. It was inspired by their lookbook photography and I linked it to surveillance due to the lack of faces. It helped me to develop my independence when it comes to directing my own projects as well as developing my creative and practical skills!

Fashion Promotion entails some academic methods such as essay and report writing; as well as highly creative and independent work. The creative side has allowed me to experiment with digital media, styling, makeup, photography, film making, advertising and illustration. Favourable topics to cover in my work include sustainability, streetwear, avant-garde styling and sportswear subcultures.
