Newsstand and subscription distribution for MonocleI made sure Monocle hit the shelves in over 120 countries around the world. If you were a subscriber I made sure you got your copy (and tote bag) too. • Creative direction for Kiki Magazine
Creative direction for Kiki MagazineThe design and content I developed as creative director at Kiki received awards from Folio Magazine, the Association of Educational Publishers, iParenting Media and the Parents’ Choice Foundation. Kiki used art and creativity as a tool to introduce young girls to things like math, science, design, history, world culture and finance. The magazine became a creativity journal with blank pages within the magazine for readers to be inspired by the articles. All models featured in each issue were readers and I highlighted an age-approriate, racially and bodily diverse group of young girls. No airbrushing and no professionals. I excelled at managing Kiki’s complicated production process and felt most proud when guiding contributors, photographers, and interns to produce their best work. I remain whole-heartedly committed to girls’ rights and supporting programming that speaks to and affirms a diverse group of readers.
