I have worked as a part-time freelance photographer for 4 years, and regularly meet with clients and discuss their requirements. I am comfortable in client meetings, and love meeting and working with people.
Whilst working as Admin Assistant I was the first point of contact for any in-bound customer enquiries. I was to also provide general support to visitors whilst acting as the point of contact for internal and external clients. I would liaise with executive and senior administrative assistants on a day to day basis to handle requests and queries from senior managers. A few of my key duties included: - Answering incoming phone calls, organise and schedule appointments and plan meetings whilst taking detailed minutes. - Write and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms. - Book travel arrangements. - Submit and reconcile expense reports. - Provide general support to visitors.
This was a customer-facing role which allowed me to to further develop my customer- relationship skills. It was my priority that each customer received the highest level of customer service, and enjoyed their time in the store. My role was also very much target-driven. I had high targets to meet, which I am pleased to say I met each month. Other key aspects of this role included: - Ensure that good housekeeping standards are maintained on the shop floor when required and ensure that the cash desk areas are replenished and kept tidy throughout the day. - Maintain excellent standards in the stockroom by organising and arranging the stockroom efficiently. Continually develop stock knowledge and promotions throughout the store. - Ensure effective communication with the Management Team at all times. - Complete other tasks as necessary to support the overall store.
- My aim was to promote the brand’s image and to maintain the highest standard of customer service at all times, to sell and gain the loyalty of the customers. - To welcome, smile and approach customers displaying a cordial attitude and a willingness to serve. - To possess good product knowledge in order to be able to advise the customer in an optimal and precise manner. - To be able to serve multiple customers simultaneously and offer excellent service to all of them. - To be familiar with the sales targets and aim to achieve and exceed them, individually and as a team. - To prioritise customer service above all other tasks. - To be familiar with and offer services according to the needs of customers in order to maximise sales. - To provide support by maintaining an optimal store image that is attractive to customers at all times.
