I'm a multidisciplinary designer with a passion for branding, animation and art direction. My work combines insight, opportunism and personality, which is driven by my eye for detail and passion to create.
Eccentric and versatile by nature, I enjoy collaborating with others to produce meaningful, concept-driven designs that resonate with the ever-changing needs of modern consumers.
I have worked on a spectrum of projects since graduating from Falmouth in 2016, which has allowed me to hone skills that span the breadth of today's storytelling environments across print and digital media.
In my free-time, I practice calligraphy and collect pins from my travels around the world. I also manage the creative and social media output for Peterborough Pride.

- Hinsull & JamesHinsull & James are a new carpentry business based in Wolverhampton, UK.The company provides bespoke building, electrical, plumbing and plastering services, and its directors sought a new logo to enhance their image within the property development sector. The final identity became centred on a bespoke monogram of the initials 'H' and 'J' which elegantly combines traditional and contemporary styling to represent their range of services and carpentry expertise.
- D&AD New Blood 2019 - Virgin AtlanticThis project was a response to the Virgin Atlantic brief in the D&AD 2019 New Blood awards. The task was to create a new flight & hotel service that encourages travellers to be more spontaneous, so I took the ultimate risk by producing a satire on the Mile High Club, positioning it as an all-inclusive travel experience. Virgin Atlantic believes travelling is an adventure, and that everything should feel amazing at 38,000 feet. Now, they really mean everything! Whether you’re single or spoken fo
- How to be a WomanAccording to Caitlin Moran, being a woman is expensive. Bras, tampons, razors, handbags, dresses and Brazilian waxes are just a handful of her every day necessities. This inspired my design response – a receipt disclosing an assortment of items that foreshadow the contents of the book. While this stays true to the purchases of Caitlin and that of modern women in general, it also hints at the gender stereotype of shopping to represent the book’s feminist themes. I then played with the visual lang

The outcome was a collection of live action film and hand dra

In 2017, Peterborough was identified as a hotspot of homophobic hate speech in the UK. The following year, the city held its first ever Gay Pride festival including a parade and 30+ events. The turnout was overwhelming and most of its events were sold out.
In 2019, Peterborough Pride made its second appearance. The directors of the event initially approached me for a new wordmark logo, a small favour which quickly evolved into an exciting rebranding project. Since November 2018, I have overseen the creative positioning of Peterborough Pride (including marketing, social media, merchandise and website) on an annual, free-time basis.
Peterborough Pride will return in 2021 as a two-week event, under revitalised art direction and an all new website.

Awards
Penguin Random House UK Design AwardsPenguin Random House UK
In June 2016, I was proud to be awarded second place for designing a new, classic cover for Caitlin Moran's memoir 'How to be a Woman'.
According to Caitlin Moran, being a woman is expensive. Bras, tampons, razors, handbags and Brazilian waxes are just a handful of her everyday necessities, and it is this insight which inspired the design response – a receipt disclosing items that foreshadow the contents of the book. A receipt also hints at gender stereotypes (shopping) to represent the book’s feminist themes.
Feedback from the author:
"I'm going to be honest with you darling, you could sell this idea tomorrow! Let's be honest, there are billions of chatty books about modern feminism now, and your design would elevate any of them to the top rank. You have triumphed here, love"
