About me
Alaa is a 3rd year BA Film Student who specialises in Sound Design. Since the age of 5, he was involved in a music band back home in Syria as a singer and compiled several song covers.
He enjoys creating Foley sound and exploring recording sounds using different microphones.
He participated in various group projects for university such as “Lamb to the slaughter” (Adaptation) and “Zombie” (Music video). At the same time, he conceptualised and created many radio-plays as creative initiatives.
He was also engaged in freelance work as a sound assistant at The Guardian on a report about Gaza.
