Alarna Barry is a BA (Hons) Fashion graduate from Leeds Arts University focusing on Menswear, luxury sportswear, outerwear and tailoring. Alarna has over a years industry experience in design, production development and PR.

  • THREE  the graduate collection
    THREE the graduate collectionTHREE is a S/S21 menswear collection combining sportswear and tailoring featuring layering. Each outfit in THREE features layering of three, supported with or without the aid of boning. The specific reference to historical womenswear corsetry responds to limited evidence of mens corsetry. The lack of corsetry within menswear inspired an approach to menswear from a totally different perspective. It gave ideas and inspiration to create a tailored/ sportswear contemporary modern menswear. collectio

    EXPEDITIONExpedition is my second year menswear module project where I focused on outerwear and sportswear. The check fabric on the sports technical vest was donated my Alfred Brown.

    7481 MTV, ICEBERG, British Fashion Council competitionMy portfolio for the MTV, ICEBERG, British Fashion Council competition which was shortlisted from Leeds Arts university. The launch of MTV in 1981 influenced my research into outer space and the solar system. From my research into the launch of MTV, their platform and creative Strategy I wanted to carry forward an outer space theme.
