Projects
  • THE SECOND SEX
THE SECOND SEXIllustrations inspired by Simone's de Beauvoir's most famous book on feminism: The Second Sex (1949). Each illustration depicts a different way in which women were perceived by society back then in 1949, and also nowadays, and it's directly paired with the quote that inspired it. This series aims to reflect on the role of women throughout history as well as what part men took in building those perceptions.

  • BARCELONA: off the beaten track
BARCELONA: off the beaten trackA visual representation of Barcelona using a not so common iconography. Drifting apart from the obvious chimneys at Gaudi's La Pedrera and the funny-looking shape of the tower Agbar, this composition attempts to appeal to those who are truly familiar with the essence of city. In a way, this illustration explores how there are different levels of understanding, from very common symbols at a very surface level to hidden elements proposing a deeper meaning.
  • YOROKOBU Magazine Cover Design
YOROKOBU Magazine Cover DesignThis cover and back cover design for Yorokobu Magazine and Volkswagen pays close attention to the turn for electric vehicles in the close future. Although it uses a limited palette, it is very rich in textures which adds a human aspect to the overall design.
