About me
Hi there, I'm Alex. I have been involved in music since I was 7 years old, and have experienced working across a wide-range of music genres, from classical orchestral and indie-pop, to ambient electronic and extreme death metal. I love creating music that combines different influences into one cohesive vision, and have most recently been on a journey of blending noise and found sounds into electronic music.

My Masters degree culminated in a final negotiated project, in which I collaborated with other students to produce a short film for which I wrote the soundtrack. To create the soundtrack, I utilised found sounds and worked with Kontakt to create experimental music. This resulted in the creation of virtual instrumentation that was simple to navigate, reliable, and could aid other composers who are writing for media. I successfully lead my team to complete the project punctually throughout the pandemic, despite it heavily impacting our resources and progress.
