Projects
- Forgotify (2020)Millions of tracks uploaded to Spotify have never had a single stream, Forgotify seeks to shed light on these undiscovered talents. Undertaken in response to a self-directed, transitional university brief, I was tasked with reconceptualising new artwork for these unheard gems, covering a variety of genres selected at random through Forgotify’s unique playlist-generating algorithm. Work history
Design InternAmphora
- Bath, United KingdomInternship
I spent some time at the UK's leading wine-label design consultancy, Amphora Design, before heading back for my final year at university. Whilst there I worked on a brief centring around the creation of a brand for a new English wine. This included product design and brand conception, typographic exploration and pitching the final concept back to the team. Having the opportunity to work in a professional studio inspired me to want to move my practice from freelancer to team-based creative.

- Falmouth, United Kingdom
I graduated from Falmouth in June 2020 with Upper Second-Class Honours (2:1), and a First-Class dissertation centring on the applicability of 20th century ecosophical theory to the work of Japanese animation house Studio Ghibli. Whilst in my final year I worked vigorously to expand my skillsets in preparation for transition into the music industry, however due to the pandemic I was forced to take these practices into the digital world. Some of these skills included amateur type and editorial design.
Extra curricular activities include working as co-curator of the design course's official Instagram account during my second year. Duties include attending, photographing, and writing up design-related events and talks. In my final year I sat on the grad show committee (prior to cancellation due to COVID-19), where members discussed plans to enrich and prolong the user experience of our final graduation show.
